We bought the TV after seeing our son's 70 inch. We are astounded every time we turn the set on. The picture is so crisp and sharp it is almost 3D without a 3D signal. We are very happy with the set and picture. The addition of a sound bar and sub woofer has made this a true home theater for a smallish room. This is the set for anyone who wants 4K without a large TV room.

We have had our 850B for about a month now and there still isn't a day that goes by where I am not blown away with the picture quality. The TV seems to upscale regular content, even non-HD, extremely well and when you see HD, BluRay or 4K it is just unbelievable.
The bezel is extremely thin on this model so it virtually looks like it's all screen.
Our last TV was a 10-year old 42" Sony Plasma and it was still going strong so that played a big factor in continuing to stay with Sony. However, we did look at the Samsungs as well and still decided that the Sony had the best picture and colors.
I cannot say enough good things about this TV and am VERY HAPPY with it.

Great picture, I have a one year old 55" bravia and this picture is noticeable ably better..I would have given it five stars but for some reason.the apps don't load up properly. I have to reboot the tv and then all the apps appear. Granted I have not gotten in touch with Sony so it could be an easy fix. But otherwise I am very happy with my purchase.

Outstanding picture and features. Truly a SMART TV. Only difficulty was the distance from my modem/LAN was such that I needed a booster for the signal at the TV. Once installed it has worked very well. I really like the seamless connection to other SONY products...bluray and home theater.

I just thought the picture in HD was great. Once I saw the side by side display at the store of an HD tv and an UHD tv, I had to buy one. I chose Sony as previous Sony products I have owned were always excellent. The ultimate test was when my wife first saw the new Sony UHD she claimed she did not see a difference. Her mother came to visit and I heard her telling her mother how much more detail was visible on the new Sony. I looked at her and said "I though you couldn't see a difference?" Her reply? Be quiet and watch tv. The level of detail the tv puts out is amazing. Very, very happy with my purchase. All the extras, Netflix, Hulu, etc. and also very nice. Just wish I would have purchased a larger screen. Maybe in the future.
