Best TV I've Owned

I had to purchase this TV as a replacement for another HD TV that could not be repaired. This is a stunning replacement! I wish there were more UltraHD material available, but the upscanned 1080i image is the best I've seen. And the true UltraHD image is jaw-droppingly spectacular. I have not tried 3-D.
I would recommend this to a friend!

TV is great. Easy to set up out of the box. Picture is awesome and clear. I considered a curved TV and I am happy that I got this tv instead. 3D simulation is a nice feature. Shipping was easy.

Amazing TV

I just thought the picture in HD was great. Once I saw the side by side display at the store of an HD tv and an UHD tv, I had to buy one. I chose Sony as previous Sony products I have owned were always excellent. The ultimate test was when my wife first saw the new Sony UHD she claimed she did not see a difference. Her mother came to visit and I heard her telling her mother how much more detail was visible on the new Sony. I looked at her and said "I though you couldn't see a difference?" Her reply? Be quiet and watch tv. The level of detail the tv puts out is amazing. Very, very happy with my purchase. All the extras, Netflix, Hulu, etc. and also very nice. Just wish I would have purchased a larger screen. Maybe in the future.

We purchased ours back on April 20,2015. We have always chosen SONY products over the years. Great quality and dependability were our reasons..
The excellent picture quality is breath taking, just like you were there! We are very satisfied with our purchase and we keep Netflix busy with movie after movie, so enjoyable on this product.
I would recommend getting the sound bar to go with it. We chose the HTCT770. It gives you the theater quality sound.
Buy it and set back and enjoy it. You will be glad you did.

PROBLEM ! Ocasional Flashing Horizontal Lines. Fixed by unplugging TV for 1 min.

Very Disappointed

I own and have owned a lot of Sony products over the years because I always felt they made quality products. My last two purchases, an XBR-55x850B and a bluray player with internet access have been huge disappointments because the online features have been disabled by Sony. Sorry Sony but my next purchases will not be Sony products!
