Best TV ever

This is the best picture I have ever experienced. In fact, too good, because I am able to see all the blemishes on faces. This TV has so many advanced features, I haven't even begun to tap into all its capabilities, like the PlayStation on-line games, and 3D movies (not too movies out there in 3D).
I was hesitant at first buying it because it was more expensive than a regular HDTV but now that I have had it for several months, I am happy with my purchase.

Went to buy the Sammy...but

The Sammy really looked good in their 4K model and we were just about to write it up, when I glanced and saw the SONY display. Oh, well, already here. My 9 year old SONY LCOS was on the blink after 4 years good service, which was a feat, as it was the ones that had the green glob and lots of problems and had two gut replacements to get us this far. I was not warm to SONY, but the 950B blew us away with an image no one else has - but also a price tag to match. We then spent lots of time with the 850B, had them hook it up to a Blu Ray player and let us toy with it. I was pleased with the ability to turn off the 4K upscaler, as I saw it could do too much for some inputs, including a Blu Ray disc. The Sammy does not have that feature. I have a lot of old films and thought best to be able to control that task. After getting it home, and seeing what it does to broadcast 1080 we were amazed. Football game images put you right there; best I have ever seen and our old SONY was pretty good too - but this is better. Using the 4K feeds from YOUTUBE are nothing short of awe inspiring, especially the nature and the travel videos. Whoever said (FORBES?) that the human eye cannot tell the difference between 1080 and 4K must need glasses! I await new 4K content, like everyone else, but while waiting I am seeing a picture and COLORS that are beyond belief. Also, got the SONY HT-X1 sound bar and am also quite pleased with it. We live in a condo and have a large surround sound system that is now in storage. This does great for something with so few speakers, and it does have a sub that will shake a bit. Got everything hooked to it and only one HDMI out to the TV.

Great TV but not best i've ever owned

The TV has a wonderful picture for viewing but the sound is awful the only way to hear it is you have to get a sound bar. It also has an issue with changing the picture depending on which channel you are watching it gets kind of annoying having to adjust the picture from regular screen size to full screen size.
I would recommend this to a friend!
