Sony XBR . Top of the line. The up scaling of 1080P programming has to be seen to be believed. It is so close to actual 4K content that one would be hard pressed to tell the difference at first sight. Although I have only watched a couple of 4K movies it is breathtaking. And the simulated 3D is a cool feature also.
got this to go in my motorhome (eventually), but am using in the house for now. image is wonderful. easy setup interface. not much 4k content availible yet, but the 1080 is very crisp from 5' away. i run an anteanna in the attic of the garage (84" of coat hangers & rg6 cable) at 40 miles from source, tuner works great. also, put the leggs in the close, or middle positions - very stable. did the electronic test first thing - turn on and run for 48 hours straight - no problems. still learning the channel surfing (43 over the air digital channels). has one item, after turning off, about a minute later the tv 'clicks', unknown why, may be nothing - like the power converter final discharge. again, quite happy.
Have owned the tv for four months now and everyday I turn it on I realize how great the picture quality is. I never get tired of the beautiful 4g picture.

Hi Beretta, We're glad to hear that you are pleased with the TV. Thank you for choosing Sony! Regards,
This is the 3rd Sony TV that I have purchased. This is an exceptional TV in every way. The picture is unbelievable and the ultra high definition is great on some of the Netflix shows. Still learning about the TV and How it all works.

One little problem

Love the TV and the picture quality except for one thing. My TV is paired with a BDV5200W blu ray home theater system. When watching the blu ray discs, there is a noticable lag between the video and the audio. The audio is heard before the video. It is off by probably a few milliseconds, neverless, it is very annoying. I have done a lot of research online, and have not been able to find a resolution to this problem. From those that have offered advice, this problem is very common with 4k televisions. Most higher end blu ray players have a sound delay adjustment to compensate for this, however the unit I have does not.
Huge improvement over our previous large projection TV and the 32" HD TVs that we own. The picture sharpness and definition is excellent and the built in audio is more than adequate. Last, there is enough technology built in to satisfy my urge to explore the TV's capabilities -- but not enough to overwhelm. The only drawback is the general absence of UHD broadcast channels.
We just purchased this TV last week. The picture quality is as amazing as you would expect from Sony but the speakers are not. We have this hooked up to our audio system but It is upsetting to think that you really need to just to have some volume.
