This is a nice looking refrigerator which so far has worked well. But TBH, I wish we had bought a new version of our old fridge. Freezer on top and fridge on the bottom, two doors. I don't like how we have to open both doors to get into the long drawer in the fridge, and the doors don't automatically shut like our old one after getting something out. With this one I have to take food out, then go back and make sure the doors close. I miss the designated butter shelf of my old fridge. And the veggie and fruit bins are not as deep, so I miss that. The water inside the fridge is cold and filtered, so I like that, But it sometimes leaves drips in the fridge. The freezer works well, but it is very loud and "clanky" when closing. It is difficult to organize the freezer foods compared to my old freezer. The ice maker has worked fine; no issues so far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We will pass your feedback regarding a butter shelf, door design to our product team to review. On refrigerators with a freezer drawer, you will hear a noise in the left refrigerator door that houses the ice and water dispenser. It sounds like an electronic noise, such as a vent opening or closing. You may even hear a second noise within seconds of the first noise. This is the damper door in the dispenser opening and closing, and is normal. The duct door opens when you close the freezer in order to equalize the pressure in the freezer. Moving warm air into a cold freezer creates a suction so opening the ice duct door momentarily equalizes the pressure when you close the freezer drawer.

Well made, lots of room and trays to store various items. Love the trays on the doors and the water dispenser inside the door. The bottom freezer has a large capacity and different storage areas separated

We had an old, single door refrigerator. We just added this French door GE model. It is so much easier to organize contents and see what is in the refrigerator now. The interior lighting is great.

Love the freezer at bottom, lots of storage and a place for ice; really like the door shelves and especially the sliding shelf for my huge ice tea pitcher. I also will enjoy the cheese/snack drawer.
