We are very disappointed with this refrigerator. It gives off a high pitch sound that is very annoying! Sometimes it sounds like a wind is blowing through the house on a stormy night. It cools okay but the noise is bothersome. Wish we selected another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The refrigerator is nice size. The freezer door seems to be tricky to close all the way. You have to keep an eye on it. So far so good.

The refrigerator is great! The stainless steel is sleek. The 33" width was a perfect fit for our kitchen. A lot of the French door refrigerators are 36" and others were 28", so this GE refrigerator that we chose will accommodate our family and small catering events.

Shelves aren't very stable and when you use the filtered water, it sounds like a gun going off when you finish filling your water bottle. Lighting is good inside. Typical so so product.
