Just installed myself yesterday so not long term use yet. Best word to describe this model is "simple" as it has all the features and functions of modern fridges in a simple design. Not having the water & ice dispenser in the door is noted by many reviewers as being more reliable as less parts to maintain, but for my wife and I, it was more for the additional storage in the door as well as where the icemaker would have taken shelf space. Some reviewers note it to be noisy, however, though there is a hum it is no different than any appliance as they all have compressors that need to function.

I love the large interior. You wouldn't think it has as much space as it does in such a sleek design. But it doesn't disappoint! Very happy with my purchase! If the freezer pulled out just a little further, it would be a 5 star rating!

This is the first 2 door with freezer on bottom. It has the features we wanted. Ice maker. Water on the in side door. we chose the stainless.

Great product, easy , convenient and reliable. I love the space in provides and organization. The ice maker is awesome along with the water filter too. GE products are awesome!
