It makes more noise than I expected. It sounds just like a one or two horsepower outboard motor powering a canoe.
I love the ice maker, though!

Perfect Size for Small Household

This refrigerator replaced a smaller (18 cu ft) refrigerator that died after 15 years. We upgraded to this one, wanting to keep a bottom freezer with ice maker, and change to French doors. The refrigerator is spacious, the filtered water feature inside the doors is a bonus, and the freezer ice compartment is huge. So far so good on cooling performance - haven’t had the refrigerator very long thus only 4 out of 5 stars. The biggest problem was the wait once it was ordered - it took several weeks for delivery.
I would recommend this to a friend!
