New Refrigator meets our expectations

We shopped carefully to replace our older GE Profile. Our new GE GNE25JYKHFFS refrigerator is only a week old. But in the end we stayed with GE. The features served our needs and the local GE service is top notch. We went for the smaller , simpler and clean look which this model provides. We were initially concerned about the ice maker in the freezer but it turned out to be easy to use. Ice maker works as it should. We also have a separate bottle water dispenser so not concerned with the internal water dispenser. It works OK and we have used it. The upper right shelf that pushes back is handy and we have used that shelf for taller containers. The ice maker does take up freezer space but the available space meets our freezer needs. The delivered SS finish looks good and was undamaged.

Lots of room for a 33", and great performance

So far, so great. I've had this refrigerator for about a month now. Because the icemaker is in the lower compartment, and the water dispenser is in the side of the door, there is a lot of room in the main body of the fridge. The drawers are easy to see and have good storage capacity. The temperature is consistent and the icemaker works well. Tip: You can use a smaller container for the icemaker drawer if you don't need a large amount of ice. The provided container for ice storage is really large and takes up more space than we need.

Great Frig
