The refrigerator is good. However I don’t like the way the doors have to be pushed hard to shy. Also inside shelving need more flexible height adjustment. Overall I give this an A-

fits in small space in older homes

cold water dispenser runs very very slow. the 24 cf french door model fits in older homes that had 17 cf single door models. It is only 33 in wide.

New Refrigerator/Freezer

Just received and installed my stainless 'steel' Refrigerator/Freezer. As of now, it appears to be working fine and looks very elegant in my kitchen. Have some getting used too, regarding the shelving configuration . Hopefully it will continue to be in service for the next 21 years as my old Kenmore one has done, which is now in the garage. Overall I'm quite please with it.

Perfect design

This refrigerator is definitely superior to the one I replaced. A French door/bottom freezer refrigerator is the perfect design. I’ve previously always had side-by-sides and felt the space was limited. A French door design eliminates any space issues since it uses the entire width of the refrigerator. The bottom freezer is much more convenient as well since you can pull it open and at a glance see everything.
But more importantly, I researched refrigerator brands for quite some time and finally chose GE based on all that research and the brand comparisons.
I’m very satisfied with this refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good features, fits our space well

Attractive, reasonably quiet, cooled quickly, large fridge space accessible without stooping, French doors make limited space in our house more usable, less freezer space than we had before since pull-out drawer does not use available space efficiently. Don't have longevity info since it was just delivered. Will try to add that after a year or so.

Its Def big. but cheaply made. The freezer has to be slammed shut. It is constantly alarms going off.
