Water dispenser inside of it was created without testing, it’s poorly designed and inefficient

I like everything about my GE Refrigerator. At first, I missed the water and ice in the door, but do so love the extra shelves on the inside.

Overall great fridge

Great fridge, tons of room. Love the slate color. Unlike stainless steel, it's magnetic and doesn't smudge so easily. It does make an annoying hum which we only notice when it's quiet in the house. Also, the water dispenser takes forever to fill a glass. I thought I could finally get rid of my brita pitcher. But it takes several minutes to fill a large glass, all the while the door is open and letting the cold air out. So maybe I should have shelled out the extra $ for the dispenser on the outside?

Doors feel cheap. Ice maker broke after 2 months.

Everything about this fridge feels cheap. The doors feel cheap when you close them. Drawers just slide on plastic tracks and to top it all off, the ice maker failed after just two months of use. Imagine having to take time out of work to sit around and wait for a tech to come look at a fridge that is already broken after 2 months. I lost more money from lost wages than what the ice maker cost to replace!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
