Thank goodness someone still makes a 33" fridge!!

Absolutely needed a 33" fridge. Cannot fit 36" and did not want to go smaller so this was the only option and am pleased so far. Love the sliding shelf so that a bottle of wine or other tall item can stand upright. But, when that shelf is not in the back position, I certainly wouldn't put anything significant on it as it seems frail. In fact, all of the shelves seem a little weak or maybe it's me. It seems that they strain under a 12 pack of soda. I didn't want or need a water dispenser but had no choice with this model. The dispenser is inside the fridge and frankly, useless. Tried it once just for the neck of it and it is extremely awkward to use. Won't be a hardship not using it. The freezer seems smaller than my previous 33" (different brand) fridge. Have pretty much the same items in this freezer but they do not fit like they did in the previous fridge. But, freezer does the job. All in all, a fridge is a fridge. It's the color I wanted, the size I wanted, keeps food cold and frozen items frozen. GE has been around forever so I feel confident with the purchase. But, when did appliances get so darn expensive? Thanks, GE, for the 33" black refridgerator!

We had a different model that gave us a lot of trouble and it was more expensive. This model has been great so far. It is quiet and spacious and we appreciate having more space for storage while the water dispenser is inside.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great refrigerator

I love the French doors opening. I love that the fridge is on top and the lighting is great. The only thing I don’t like is that the water dispenser that is located on the inside pours out very slow! It’s a nice feature but takes too long to fill up cup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The water dispenser stopped working the second day we had it. No troubleshooting could get it working again. I returned it and got a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the new fridge

We had a new GE fridge installed Saturday. We are so excited for the water and ice feature. I’m 38 years old and I’ve literally never had ice in my home. Super excited!

Beautiful and lots of room but fits into a small space. I LOVE THE LIGHTS THAT ILLUMINATES THE INDIDE OF CRISPER DRAWERS! I can see everything in my fridge without opening the drawers!

condensation, temperature issues

the refrigerator is still under warranty and twice i have had problems with the motor continuously humming due to temperature and condensation. the recommended settings don’t seem to control the condensation buildup and freezing on the inside water line. turning off the refrigerator and then turning back on after a few minutes didn’t help. i finally had to empty the ice tray, turn the refrigerator temperature up temporarily and peel the ice off the back wall to get the refrigerator to function properly. I never had this happen with other brands
