NEVER-ENDING BUZZING/HUMMING NOISE

Just got this delivered on 10/4/24 after waiting over a month for it. Love the design and features but IT MAKES SUCH A LOUD NEVER-ENDING BUZZING/HUMMING NOISE and it never stops. Nothing is vibrating inside against something else. Assuming the unit never shuts off after it reaches its desired temp bc this keeps humming, how is this energy efficient? My 20-yr old Amana (same style with fridge on top) was a beast and so well made. Makes me so sad we couldn’t get the part anymore to fix it. So quiet and reliable….
If you have an open floor plan home or a child with sensory issues, this is NOT the fridge for you!! Sadly, hoping to return the unit and look for something else.
C’mon GE, you didn’t catch this in the design process?

Water dispenser needs improvement.

Love it except the water dispenser takes 2 hands and the tube that the water comes out of is difficult to get a container under. Also we have it set at 35 but the fridge thermometer says it's at 42 degrees.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features.

We really love our new refrigerator. The only issue I have is with the water dispenser. I didn’t like the engineering of it. It would only fill up glasses. We had to put a 2 inch plastic tube as an extension in order to fill any larger items such as a thermos. Is there something we were missing on the dispenser. Otherwise, we are very pleased.

I’ve had it for a week and it’s great so far. Seems like a lot more refrigerator space, but not as much in the freezer. I’ll also still getting used to the bottom freezer. It doesn’t “organize” as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

OK But Not Great

Overall decent replacement for nightmare of a Samsung refrigerator. Mostly does the job but the freezer drawer has been an issue since we got it. It must be closed in a very specific way or it remains ajar enough to development lots of frost in the freezer compartment. Very disappointed but I guess quality isn’t what it used to be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
