Good product only drawback is ice cube bin. When you one the freezer ice falls out the back

Great refrigerator with a well built exterior and interior. Well lit interior with many options for side drawers and different sized spaces for storage. Freezer has a surprisingly large capacity. Overall very happy with the purchase.
Easy hooking up the water line. Produces clean, tasty water and ice.

Would be happy if it wasn’t so noisy

We selected this fridge because of its smaller width and features. We only have space for a 33 inch but wanted a deep fridge. We love the adjustable shelves, the lighting inside, drawer, configuration, etc. The first day we noticed that it was substantially louder than our 10+ year old fridge. We gave it a couple of days, but then figured something must be wrong. An authorized GE repair person came out and indicated that the noise that we hear is the type of refrigerant in the refrigerator, and there’s nothing to be done about the noise. It almost sounds like there’s an icemaker running, whenever the fridge is running, which is a lot. That was the other thing, we noticed that it seemed to be running much more than our old fridge, which didn’t make sense. The repair person said that in fact, that is normal. The newer fridges actually run more frequently and it’s more efficient. That doesn’t quite make sense to me, but time will tell. The frustrating part is that it runs more frequently and is obnoxiously loud. It’s the same volume as our dishwasher. We would return it if there was another fridge that would fit our space and our needs, but this seems to be the only one. I’m hoping with time the sound of the fridge will become like white noise to us, but so far to people who have been in our house have asked what the noise is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the job

We bought this because 1) it fit our space, 2) it was available immediately (our old refrigerator died) and 3) it had the basic features we needed. It is completely functional, and basically is an ok refrigerator. A couple of things we don't care for: the doors don't close on their own, rather they stay or swing open, the freezer drawer also doesn't close on its own, the top freezer tray doesn't slide particularly well and their isn't a dedicated butter tray.
I would recommend this to a friend!
