Ice in the ice maker smells

Not sure how I feel about the fridge at this point. The ice maker smells of the food that's in the bottom drawer of the refrigerator. It does'nt taste like it, but it smells like whatever is put in the drawer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We were very unhappy. When we got our refrigerator it did not work. The compressor was not plugged in at the factory. Could not service for 9 days. Poor quality control at your factory.

Have had in for a month, it’s very quiet, like the large ice bins. I wish when you opened the freezer the top drawer with the ice would stay stationary instead of sliding out with the drawer. It isn’t a big deal but would prefer it wouldn’t. I like the sleek water tap in the fridge it takes up no space. There is t a butter dish compartment but a complete shelf which my butter fits perfectly fine. I also like the large meat cheese drawer under the produce drawers.

Bought the refrigerator in March and already had issues with it in October. Dealing with GE for the repair has been awful and lots of back and forth and they will say they cannot do anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Definitely a five star product.

So much storage room and the doors have great space to hold large items. The top right shelf slides backwards to accommodate wine bottles or taller containers. No more bending to see what is on the bottom shelf of my refrigerator. I love the light and features of the freezer. My son plans to order one just like it.

I do love it but…

I bought this refrigerator. I bought because a friend has the same one and I really like the split fridge. The refrigerator part is great - super spacious, well laid out, flexible. My only criticism is that the freezer is smaller than I expected. When I emptied my old one and transferred everything into the new one, not everything fit.
