No fingerprints!

We love that the stainless does not keep finger prints on it, and it can easily be washed or wiped away. Our previous refrigerator had so many issues with the ice maker and water on the outside door so thought we would try this. The ice maker works well and the water inside the door is a little odd but works well. Totally recommend

Good but not great.

Cons: Compressor is louder than the previous LG, too loud in my opinion. The shelving is almost a deal breaker. It does not have enough range of adjustment. The shelves can only be adjusted in 3 different positions about 4 inches apart. This makes one shelf useless if you want to put an ice tea pitcher in the fridge. Have to move shelf up so that its so close to top shelf it unusable or remove it completely. There is no butter/egg closable shelf on door. Door shelves are advertised for a gallon jug, which is correct but this limits refrigerator shelve depth due to space required for door. Prefer to have deeper refrigerator shelves. Door springs are not equal tension. Right door closes harder than left and both are too tight, almost have slam/throw doors to have them close without springing back open. Top freezer draw opens with main door. Have to push back top drawer to access main larger lower drawer. Personal preference but annoying.
Pros: Fingerprint resistant finish is legit. No fingerprints or smudges. Anything that does get on fridge easily wipes off without streaking. The ice maker is fast and makes a lot of ice quick. The drawer lighting is a nice feature.
Hopefully GE durability remains, this is main reason for switching back to GE appliances.

Nice refrigerator with a couple of inconveniences

This is a nice fridge, but there are three features that I don't like.
Firstly, the shelves look adjustable, but in reality they can only be adjusted to the manufacturers ideals. There is one top shelf that can be retracted to make room for big items like milk. The others can't be moved to make them tall enough for tall items. I do not like to keep milk in the doors where the bins are huge and the bottles would fit. There's too much temperature fluctuation.
The filtered water inside is nice, but then you have to leave the fridge door open to use it. Not economical at all and better to be without filtered water than have everyone stand there with the door open to fill a glass or pitcher.
There is no butter keeper. Butter can be kept in a bin on the door, but there's no door to close it off from the rest of the fridge.
It sounds like a lot of complaining, but I just want to be truthful. We like the fridge overall. Now we hope it lasts longer than our other one at 11 years.

Icemaker cutoff switch was difficult to find and use. Inside water dispenser was slow and took two hands to operate. On-door butter shelf is poorly placed. Freezer is hard to organize.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
