Easy setup

Easy to prepare refrigerator to place food in it. Like the drawer and the inside refrigerator water dispenser. Would have preferred a 2 door version rather than the French door style, but none were available to fit our 33" width limitation.

Nice refrigerator. Lots of space in the fridge section. A little louder than most fridges but not excessive. Wish it's hinges weren't so long so that it would fit under cabinets better

VERY noisy

We abosolutely LOVE all of the features of our new GE refrigerator, and it has all the room we need. BUT.............it is SO NOISY, we have to adjust our TV volume whenever it starts running. The GE technician told us that we have to "live with it", because that's how the refrigerators are made now. We asked our dealer to trade this one in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi - Thanks for the feedback on your refrigerator. It's nice to see that you're loving its features, but we do apologize that it's louder than expected. Our newest models do create a certain degree of sound. You may hear a high pitched hum or pulsating sound, which is normal.

Love everything except icemaker switch

We got this refrigerator a little over a year ago when our previous one failed. We like everything about it except for the location of the icemaker on/off switch. It's a good thing we are fairly flexible and have long arms, or the switch would be very difficult to access. It's at the very back of the freezer in the upper left corner. This requires either a deep bend or stoop, and a long reach to the back of the freezer. Someone short or with limited mobility would have trouble reaching it.
