This is the first French door unit I have had. I love the room and ability to place large cookie sheet straight in. Plenty of storage in each door. The bottom freezer unit seems a little smaller than my side by side (the reason for 4 stars). Overall I love this refrigerator and the finish.

My family loves our new GE french door refrigerator with the bottom freezer! I always knew that having the freezer on the bottom would work for my tall family. No more bending to find food on bottom shelves! We see everything now! No complaints. We searched high and low for a 33" model. So glad we settled on GE to replace a 27 year old Frigidaire. Here's hoping we get the same amount of use, as the value seems the same.

This is a nice refrigerator. I have never had one with a freezer on the bottom decided to give it a try. I have had this for a month now and I am not convinced there is more room in this one than a side by side. I also decided to try the water dispenser on the inside. This feature is nice but the problem is you have to "Hold" the button down the entire time you are filling up your cup. Depending on how much water you need this can be awhile. One more note on the freezer on the bottom.....if an ice cube falls through the cracks and lands on the bottom the freezer will not close properly. I do love the fingerprint resistant stainless steel...this is a must!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my new refrigerator. Went from a side by side to this and don’t know why I didn’t get a French door sooner. And the turbo cold feature for warm leftover is awesome. The water inside is a little annoying but better than sacrificing space for the door water filter.

Had a fridge that was too large for the space and had to down size to this fridge. Well this baby is bigger inside and hold a whole lot more. Ice generation is prolific and the inside water dispenser is better to save space on the door.
Doesn't look fancy on the outside, but has all the things you want and need.
