Many great features

We love our new GE refrigerator. The only things keeping this from being 5 stars are: a) the water dispenser is in an awkward place and requires an extra hand to push the button to activate. Not a user-friendly design; and b) the bottom drawer has a sliding shelf in it that restricts how much we store in the freezer.
These are relatively minor inconveniences, however. The fridge works great, and the storage in the main area is well considered and designed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had our new refrigerator for a couple of months now. Have to say I am disappointed in the overall quality especially with the freezer area which will often frost up for no apparent reason. The freezer drawer also binds most of the time and it seems the drawer rails will not allow the the freezer to fully close at times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is so much useable space. Upgraded from 22 cubic feet. Much larger ice capacity and water dispenser inside is no problem. Cleaner look than water and ice dispenser on door.

Our older refrigerator wasn't keeping cold enough, so we bought this to replace it. I love that it is larger and has the majority of our regular foods at the top ⅔ of the unit. Our old one had the freezer on top and stooping for things on the bottom shelf was not easy. I'm new to French door refrigerators and am slowly getting accustomed to this one. I was limited in selections because I was trying to keep all my appliances black to match my color theme in the kitchen. This fridge maxed out our cabinet space and has a lot more storage. The handy slide shelf allows taller items to fit as needed. I love the ice maker in the bottom drawer, which is easy to get into. I didn't want to waste space by having an "in-door" water and ice system. The ice drawer slides back to gain access to all the frozen foods below it. We have an upright freezer in the garage, so I don't need much freezer space upstairs in the kitchen. I'm praying that this refrigerator holds up for many years, unlike our old one that lasted about 20. (We still have an antique Coldspot refrigerator in the basement that is over 80 old and still working like a champ!) They don't make refrigerator to last like that anymore!
