So far it works great. Only had it for a few months.
Wish the top drawer in freezer part would slide back more when using bottom drawer.

Great refrigerator with issues.

It keeps the food cold evenly. My issues are: door handles keep coming off and the ice maker makes a lot of noise! We do not have the ice maker connected. The installers did not turn it off, so we had a snow like covering on our food and terrible, terrible noise for two weeks before I figured out where the "ice maker off" switch was located. The fresh door handles slide on and keep sliding off! Any up movement as you open the doors and pop! You stand there with a handle in your hand. I expected better quality of installation and better door handle attachment. The ice maker, that was inexperienced installers. The door handle is a design flaw. I have an appointment scheduled since GE will not give advise and keep trying to send me to youtube for installation instructions. These door handles are not in youtube.

My new GE French Door refridgerator is the best! It is quiet, large interior has plenty of light. The freezer on the bottom is more than I expected. Wish I had been braver sooner. Would buy this again if ever I needed.

A very practical, well featured refrigerator/freee

Besides the fact that the unit operates well and quietly, we like the lighting that brightens slowly when we open the door. No blinding light at night. It also lights the entire compartment very nicely. We also appreciate the open door alarm that lets us know if someone did not properly close either door.
Other items:
Freezer is great.
Icemaker great; filter easy to change.

Only dislike is the secret water dispenser in the door edge. Not too convenient to use.

Great Fridge

Just got the fridge yesterday and we are already satisfied with the our purchase. Our old fridge was a standard french door and we used to cram food in there to find space and this one makes it seem we have littel food now due to all the space. Would very much reccomend to another buyer
