Very nice refrigerator

After almost a month, I have like having it very much, we seem to have more room. Two things are a problem. I don't like the stainless steel handles. My hands are not always dry or 100% clean and it shows. I love the rest of the of the matte slate exterior which does not show staining at all. The other problem is the freezer. I think the ice holder is way too big. I would like a divider to make the ice holder smaller, or even better, a smaller container, I put a smaller box within it to fill less area and I am able to squeeze 2 pints ice cream containers in that extra space. I would like more than one moveable separator in the lower part of the freezer.

This refrigerator is quiet, nice looking and functional. Only downside is the drawers do not slide well. You have to lift them up and pull. I know GE has the ability to fix this in future models.

We ordered a different brand from a National retailer and it never worked well. Under warranty we refused another of that brand and got a GE. It has been working very well

Awesome French Door Fridge

For years we had a traditional fridge with a top freezer. I wish we had switched to a French door bottom freezer long ago. No more bending over to see what's in the back on the bottom shelves. With the bottom freezer being basically a big drawer you just pull it out and look down to see what you have/want. We love it. AND... This one is recommended in a leading consumer publication.

I love the lights that are placed just right in the fruit and veggie bins. The refrigerator always keeps a perfect temperature. And the ice maker is extremely efficient. I could not imagine owning a better refrigerator than this one!
