GREAT FEATURES

Love the roominess for the refrigerator, easy access to the filter and all food drawers roomy. Door space is roomy and convenient. Not thrilled with the water dispenser inside the fridge, holding the door open to fill a glass making it less energy efficient because it is a slow fill. Freezer is roomy and ice maker is the bomb! Not thrilled with the stainless steel but that is just not my preference.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loads of space

My old refrigerator lasted for over 20 years. I was comfortable replacing it with another GE. This refrigerator is not only nice looking but had a lot of space. There is great flexibility in the placement of the shelves.

French door fridge is not yet a year old. Shelves are cheap plastic...already cracked. hope company has replacement shelving. Ice maker on/off won’t turn ‘off’.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too early to tell

So far it works great. I wish the manufacturer would include the ice maker fittings in the dimensions. They stick out about a 1/2" from the body of the unit, making the actual dimensions larger than what are reported. It's a big deal when someone is measuring for door spaces when moving it in the house. The movers almost took it back because they didn't want to wait for me to remove trim so it would fit through our door. Very frustrating since I made sure to triple check dimensions of my doors and the refrigerator before delivery.
