Well worth the wait!

Huge amount of space inside of a smaller frig.

We upgraded from a standard older refrigerator with the freezer on top. No more bending down to try to find things in lower part of the frig. We have been wanting a nice refrigerator, but our space for a frig is fairly small and most of the newer refrigerators won't fit. We found two that would work, this and another brand. We went with the GE and are so happy! We wanted a refrigerator without a water faucet in the door, as those units take up so much space inside the doors. We like the adjustability of the shelves inside, and the way the drawers are clear, so you won't forget food shoved in the back. It has a door alarm that warns you if door is left open or ajar, but you can turn off the door open alarm - just press the words "door alarm" on the top outter edge inside the outter frame of frig. It's a toggle switch, alarm on or off. Excellent product really happy with this! My hubby picked it out and he is thrilled with it. My only design suggestion would be that the smaller half size shelves for the bottom row on the inside of the doors would be more useful if they extended out to the same size as the other shelves. You can see what I mean in the photos. There was space enough inside the frig to make the bottom door shelves wider like the ones above. The small half size shelves are hard to access. Hopefully GE could include larger shelves on the bottom in the next generation. I would highly recommend this.

Lots of space!!

I have been wanting a french door, bottom freezer for quite some time now. I did a lot of research and decided to purchase this one because, quite frankly, it was the best deal with the features I wanted. I LOVE it! It is roomier that I thought it would be and I have so much space to put things. I do bulk buying and this is perfect for all the veggies I buy. Love the water feature on the inside of the fridge and how fast it makes ice. Will save tons of money on the water bottles alone. If you are like me and don't have the room for the larger fridge, this one is perfect!
