Great fridge for the price

I would have loved to give this 5 stars except for this reason. I self installed refrigerator with no issues. This model has the option for water dispensing, which I did not hook up. About 2 weeks after it was installed at 2am this God awful buzzer sound went off which woke us up. We weren’t sure where it came from until the next day when it happened again. It sounded like the buzzer when an old dryer was done, but louder. Checked the manual and only buzzer mention was when it came to the water filter. Again, not hooked up. This happened 4 more times until finally I found and removed the water filter. Hasn’t happened since. There was no mention of this in the manual, but it worked for me. Other than that, a very nice refrigerator

I like the GE refrigerator because the ice maker is in the freezer and I use an ice bucket to put ice into the top part of the refrigerator. The ice stays cold and solid for hours.
