OK Fridge

It is an OK fridge. It sticks out a lot farther than my old one that was the same width. The inside of the fridge is much different and harder to organize because the distance between the shelves is smaller. The freezer isn't as deep as the refrigerator - i assume the compressor is in the back. Overall it keeps the food cold and it will take me some time to get used to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Freezer door pops open

Poor quality as freezer door pops open 1/8-1/4 inch when shutting. Warm air gets in and entire freezer frosts up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Freezer makes noise like its off the track half way open. Upper shelf sticks when opening freezer and have to push it shut to get to main part of freezer. Hard to see in lower freezer, bad lighting.

I've only had this refrigerator for 1 month and it has stopped working. Cannot get service for over 10 days. Now I must get through the holidays without a refrigerator. Will never buy another GE appliance.

Solid fridge

It's your typical mid tier fridge with a couple of perks. There's the ice maker and a water dispenser inside the fridge. While a dispenser is nice you might get tired of opening the door everytime you want to get a glass of water.
As for shelves on the sides and in the interior, placement is flexible. You can move the shelves to accommodate taller items. The fruit/veggies shelves slide easily unlike most older fridges.
The freezer is split into 2 tiers, with the bottom tier containing a divider. Probably the biggest weakness here which I think most french door style fridges have is that if you don't close the freezer all the way in, ice will form in your freezer. You can tell because you can hear the condenser stay on for an extended period of time, as well as it maling a groaning noise for being on for so long.
The open door alarm doesn't work in this case.
Make sure that when you close the freezer that you see the insulation cover the fridge on all sides.
Overall solid fridge.

Happy with purchase

Overall we really like our new fridge. There are lots of shelves on the doors to fit a lot of items and inside Shelves are good also and you can adjust them. Love having the one shelf that you can retract to put a taller item in front. Also like the long bottom drawer for beverages. Only just had the water line installed so not sure how that works yet. Only Reason I didn’t give it five stars is that the fridge fan sounds noisy sometimes for a brand new fridge so I just hope there’s nothing wrong with it. Also the exterior looks nice.
