Great choice

I’m thrilled with my new refrigerator. I had debated a couple of features: ice in the door or in the freezer and 3-doors or 4-doors. I settled on the 3-door because in comparison, it just gave me so much more room in both the refrigerator and the freezer.
My previous side-by-side refrigerator was about 15+ years old and packed; it was difficult to find items. Not true of my new GE. I have empty shelves! I have spare room in the freezer.
I love the size of the ice bin and the speed of the ice maker. I’m finding it just as convenient as the in-the-door model.
The door bins are fantastic....great size and convenience.

Things I don’t love:
1. I’m confused by the water spigot inside the door of the refrigerator. It is something I won’t use. But, I do have good water from my faucet and others may not have that.
2. The sound of the refrigerator is something I have to get used to. First, it hums about (2-7 seconds) then it knocks 5-15 times. Neither are necessarily loud, but they are different.
3. When the ice bin is full and I pull out the door, cubes tend to fall in the back of the freezer. I’ve learned that I can reach them by pulling the freezer door out and using a BBQ fork to bring them to the front. Still, it is a tiny problem for me but could be a big problem for people with kids.
I would definitely buy this refrigerator again.
