I really like this refrigerator. There is plenty of space and I like the slate color too. The bottom freezer is good sized and I like that it is more convenient than a top freezer.

we looked at many units, this one stood out as a value, it was exactly what we wanted, right down to the color which by the way is GE and no one else, please note the interior layout is superior to any other in this price point.

I love the color and French doors. Easy access to bottom freezer. It’s quiet and I love the alarm feature if drawer or door is left open more than 2 minutes.

Bad choice.

The freezer fan broke within just a few months, making the fridge unbearably loud. I literally unplugged it when home just so I could hear other talking, or watch the TV. Also seemed to have interior shelves that don't really fit or hold much weight, and a warning that chemicals in the fridge cause cancer...not what I want next to food! Easily smudges on the doors, too, so it always looks dirty. I dislike this fridge and would never recommend it.

FRIDGE WITH BOTTOM FREEZER

REPLACED MY OLD FRIDGE IT WAS ALSO A G.E. WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH IT HAD IT 20 PLUS YEARS STILL WORKS GOOD BUT WANTED TO UPGRADE TO A BOTTOM FREEZER WITH FRENCH DOORS AND I LOVE IT IF THIS ONE LASTS AS LONG AS THE LAST ONE I WILL BE ONE HAPPY WOMAN AND THE PRICE WAS AWESOME

Like the front color

The ice maker is in a very bad place. You must get on your knees and use a broom handle to reach the off and on button, stupid. Although the front of the refrigerator does not scratch easily the sides EASILY scratch. The sides are merely a coat of paint and I mean 1 coat of paint.
