We spent a very long time to find the refrigerator we wanted. We read other people's reviews, really tried to find the best frigerator we could for the best price. This GE Refrigerator is every thing we wanted for our new appliance. It runs well, it is quiet, the drawers slide in and out easily. I like the big drawer In side. It had lots of room for our food items. The freezer is great, holds a lot of food, the ice maker is super.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros: interior lighting
Cons: noisy motors, bottom drawer in fridge requires opening both outer doors to get at contents, drawers seem flimsy and not sturdy

Cheaply made

The door alarm came broken. We've waited over a month and the part still hasn't been fixed. We can't adjust any settings because it had to be unplugged to keep the alarm from constantly beeping. The levers that close the doors are stiff, and the whole fridge shakes when you close the doors, even when you're trying to be gentle. This results in containers shifting/falling over when the doors are closed. Wish we had chosen something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The fridge is constantly running and humming, and the fridge beeps (door alarm and water filter alarm) 3/4 times every time you open it. It wakes up my newborn each time. I have had the fridge for a couple months, and I already need to call the service center, take time out of my day to have them fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No locks on wheels
