Large capacity!

Love the slate finish with brushed stainless handles that match my faucet. Updated look for my kitchen. Needed a 33-inch wide refrigerator and wanted a french door model. Convenient arrangement of inside shelves makes it easy to fit and find everything. Extra deep for greater capacity. LED lighting illuminates evenly. Doors are not heavy and close easily. Quiet. A lot of features and a reasonable price - and GE's reputation for reliability..

Plugged in and everything worked perfect had ice within 12 hours very pleased with this purchase. This also being my first ever major appliance did my research and it so far has lived up to its reviews 2 thumbs up GE appliances

Love this refrigerator! I didn't want water on the exterior so water was not a priority. After receiving refrigerator, we decided to hook up to water so that the ice maker was functional. We do use the interior water as well. It's a bit awkward to hold glass and press water button and difficult to do with only one of the frig doors open so kind of an energy waster in that respect. I now fill a pitcher with water and ice instead so as not having to fill just one glass at a time. Also water coming out is not very cold so putting in a pitcher solves that problem as well.

We purchased this refrigerator about 2 months ago and absolutely love it. The French Door model is awesome and the slate finish is great. We will be buying the slate dishwasher soon.

This fridge is fantastic in almost every way. I bought this one with no dispenser in the door for water or ice because the ones with that feature have a huge ice machine drop that takes up half the room on the upper left side inside the door. I can't believe how much more room this one has. The only drawback is that although it is handy and effortless to slide open the bottom freezer and scoop out some ice, the ice piles up and slides off into the bottom under the slide out compartments. There should be a more accurate ice maker shut off so the pile doesn't get so high. But that's a minor complaint compared to all the good stuff this unit does.

About 18 months ago we replaced a 20 year-old GE dishwasher with a new GE Slate model, then a year after that, we replaced our original 20 year-old GE gas range with a GE Slate model, so about 6 months ago, in order to have all the appliances match, we finally replaced our white GE refrigerator with a GE Slate model. All these 20 year-old appliances still worked perfectly, but we were re-doing our kitchen and the old white appliances looked dated, and besides, we knew that newer appliances would work better and be more energy-efficient. I am a real fan of GE appliances which I have had in this house and in previous homes, and have never had any problems or repairs needed, so there was no doubt that I would replace the old appliances with new GE models. The old refrigerator was also in perfect working order, so I hesitated to buy a new one, but I'm so glad I did! Because of the architectural niche into which I had to put the new refrigerator, I thought I was buying roughly the same size new refrigerator, but I was stunned at how much more room the new model has! And the lighting makes it so much easier to find items in the back of the refrigerator which doesn't sound that important perhaps, but it's made a huge difference. This new refrigerator is quiet, attractive, energy-efficient, and It's just perfect. I love it! I love all my new GE appliances and recommend them unreservedly!
