Great fridge!

I bought this fridge about a month ago and so far I am very pleased. I have 7 children and needed a fridge with more space. This fridge is great! There is plenty of room! I love my fridge so far!

More room than I thought!

I needed a 33in wide fridge. This one is perfect! I like it better than old 36in wide fridge. Holds way more than I thought it could. Roomy storage areas. I love not having the water/ice pocket on the outside of the door. I seemed to be always wiping up excess water or ice. There is an internal water spout and it works great. No drips. Also, without the outside pocket, I have more storage on the inside of the door. I also like the slate color. No fingerprints!

GE French Door Refridgerator/Freezer

The icemaker switch is too far back in the bottom freezer. Ice tray slides out when drawer is pulled out and it did dump it's ice once just as I pulled the drawer out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had new fridge for a week and love it. Been wanting a slate finish for a long time. When the 33" wide came out and no door dispenser knew it was the one. I like the clean look and more door storage, was used to ice maker in freezer also. It really makes seeing and getting to items better wanted fresh food on top. One tip is to get the clear fridge organizers so you can see and pull your items right to you. Made my first trip to buy groceries yesterday and was pleasant to have food more organized and visible. With the lighting and shelves I feel like it's my mini grocery store. For the price it has many high end features and feels very solid. It is visible in my main living area and is quite attractive. All of my appliances are GE, and I would not consider buying any other brand.

One of the main reasons for buying this model is that the water dispenser is hidden, inside the door. The outside looks clean and uncluttered.
