very good, however, the drawers seem to be a little cheap. Also wish the freezer had a bit more room. other than that, it's very good.

Not what I expected

I expected more quality. The plastic pieces are loose and don't have much adjustment. If you are use to the older appliances this will disappoint you for the price.

temperature control appears not to work, the refrigerator is too cold no matter what temperature we set it at. I am about to buy a thermometer so I can place it inside and see what temperature it really is.
We love the design and layout.
Wish the finish was smudge proof, hate all the finger marks on the stainless steel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought our GE Fridge on New Years Day. Our previous fridge with ice & water in the door (NOT made by GE), kept freezing up and we finally were fed up with the maintenance issues.
After researching review for other models and manufacturers, we had 2 in mind when we went to the store to purchase.
The GE GNE25JSKSS won in our mind - hands down! We now have plenty of ice in the freezer and there is filtered water - it's inside the door. Brilliance. I get all the ice I could ever need and still get filtered water.

Largest unit for our location. Very quiet. Love the adjustable shelf for tall items. Interior water delivery is space saving. Doors can be stiff when closing. Would buy again.

Might be Awesome, but Maybe Not

I have had this refrigerator for 2 months. Up until 2 weeks ago I would have given it a 5 star rating. It is quiet, I love the features - just an all around great product... until recently. The night before I was leaving on a 10 day vacation, my refrigerator started making a horrific noise - sounded like a jack-hammer. It didn't last long, and didn't repear. It sounded as if a part (maybe a fan) was hitting something metal. I tried to see what I could see, but nothing is visible. I left for vacation and came home to the same sound - now happening more frequently. I have to call for repair. Depending upon the service I receive, I will change my rating.
