Quiet & fits in old home-A few minor complaints.

Overall great refrigerator so far. It replaced an ancient refrigerator that finally stopped freezing adequately. Fits in our small 1941 kitchen refrigerator space ok, although we still had to saw out part of the cabinet above it to make it fit. The fridge is very deep ( I assume this is how they get so much cubic foot space in this fridge) and with the refrigerator portion on top it is a bit of a reach to the back of the refrigerator top shelf. Which is why I wish all the shelves were pull out drawer style shelves. This is my main complaint. Another issue is that all the shelves are right or left sided, thus you cannot switch the placement from side to side. I wanted to put the adjustable/Retractable shelf on the left instead of the right. No can-do. Another issue is that the height adjustments are only in a few set location increments, not the multiple inch adjustments that older refrigerators used to provide and so configuration is not as customizable for height. This is my second complaint.
You have to make sure the doors shut completely and do not spring back open otherwise there is an annoying door open beep that starts up if you leave the doors open but I suppose this is useful somehow.
The freezer drawers could be a bit more accessible and open completely but not a huge problem.
On the plus side, it seems to be quiet and keeps things cold and frozen. For a “less expensive” refrigerator it does the job. Hopefully it will last !

My Wife Loves our New Refrigerator

We have not completed our Kitchen Remodel, so our new GE Refrigerator currently resides in our dining room. We have not hooked up water so the automatic Ice Maker and water dispenser are not currently functioning. Hard to say there is anything we don’t like about this new fridge. Lights are nice and bright, doors & drawers work well. I would buy the same refrigerator again!
