We have only had this refrigerator for a few days but are happy with it so far. We find it to be quiet and well made. One minor complaint - all 3 refrigerator drawers were "squeaky" while being opened and closed when we first got the refrigerator. we rubbed WD-40 on the rollers and door tracks and that stopped the noise. It has not happened since.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall extremely happy. Love the finish and look. Switch to turn off/on ice maker is way in the back of freezer compartment and difficult to reach. Refrigerator compartment shelf locations are pretty rigid with little adjustability for different size items.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this about three months ago and am really happy with it. We like the inside water dispenser and the sliding shelf. It is quiet and holds all of our food.

Good Refrigerator but a little noisy

I have owned this refrigerator for about two months now. Overall, it has worked well for me, and I have had no problems. My previous fridge was a side-by-side, so this was a definite upgrade. Quality wise, it is well built and very spacious. Even with the large amount of groceries I buy, this is able to hold it all with room to spare. It also holds the temperature extremely well. All my food stays cold and the temperature seems to be consistent within all sections of the fridge. Also, there is a digital thermostat located at the top of the fridge, so it is easy to change the temp with just the press of a button. The water dispenser inside is a major reason why I decided to purchase this. I don't like how refrigerator's with an outside water dispenser take up so much space inside the fridge. This internal dispenser solves this problem and takes up no additional space.
The freezer has a pull out plastic drawer. Some other refrigerator's that I looked at had either metal racks or cheaply made pull out drawers, but this GE fridge's is solid and added to my decision to purchase this. As for the ice machine, it works very well and doesn't take up too much space. My only issue is that it sometimes continues making ice even when the tray is full, so the ice spills out into the freezer. There is only a little spill over, so this isn't a huge problem.
Pros: lots of space, consistent temperature, quality materials, space saving internal water dispenser, ice maker
Cons: refrigerator is somewhat noisy when running and took me some time to get used to, ice maker sometimes spills over
