It's not as fancy as its price would lead one to believe. Inside water dispenser VERY inconvenient. Ice maker is a bit over-productive. It's LOUD and seems to run for a great deal of time. Thirty-nine degrees wasn't cool enough; had to reduce it to 36 to get reasonably fast cooling. Doors hard to open, especially freezer. Shelves inconveniently placed and immovable. Constantly cleaning fingerprints is annoying. Shelve and drawers seem cheaply made and fragile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There's so much space. It keeps my food at perfect temp. I love the water dispenser on the inside.

Good looking , great features , lots of room in refrigerator and the bottom freezer. It’s so quiet and I am very pleased with GE products. We chose the slate finish and it’s easy to keep clean.

Most new fridges don't accommadate a gallon container; the sliding shelf takes care of that problem.
