Huge storage!!

We've had the fridge for about two months, and it feels huge! We have two boys and our old unit could barely hold food for the week. With this GE fridge we have more than enough room. It's also very bright inside to easily find everything.

Had to replace refrigerator from another manufacturer that was only 6 years old (first the freezer went and then the fridge). Had the luxury of having a smaller spare GE fridge, so we moved the food there and thus, had the time to research various makes and models. Family members had lots of luck with GE and our GE spare fridge took on all of our refrigeration needs like a champ without any issues. So, we decided on GE and are really pleased so far with the quality. Kind of tired of the stainless steel craze so we opted for the slate finish. It is just a little different, but still goes with the rest of our stainless steel appliances.Our model does not have all the bells and whistles, but it keeps our food fresh and preserved and makes ice so we are quite satisfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome fridge!

I bought this ride within the last 6 months and couldn't be happier. I love the slate finish and it's not a plastic feel either, but solid metal. The interior shelves are roomy and being able to alter the depth of one shelf is a nice feature when storing tall bottles. I love the water dispenser inside of the unit as well as the digital control and the ease of setting the temp for the fridge and freezer. I wasn't sold on the drawer freezer which was different than the bottom freezer with a regular door that swings out that I had earlier. But I've grown to really like this feature too, since it's so much easier to find things now. The light is bright and clear when you open it and it even has an alarm if you don't shut the door within several minutes. Overall, I love this fridge! Now, I need the double oven and dishwasher to match. The quality and build of this GE fridge is unsurpassed.
