for the price nice refrigerater

good looks but the drawers squeak when you open them and the shelves don't have enough support and are uneven (not real impressed)

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your new refrigerator. We are sorry you are experiencing issues with the drawers and shelves.
For the drawers, the quickest way to eliminate the squeaking is to lubricate the top area of the drawer when pulled out with either paraffin wax (not candle) petroleum jelly or mineral oil. Work the drawers back and forth until the noise goes away.
You may want to take advantage of your warranty for the shelves and have a GE Service Technician out by calling 1-800-GE-CARES (432-2737).

Great overall features

Very happy overall with the exception of the water dispenser. The water dispenser is inside the refrigerator and is very awkward to use..you have to hold the glass to be filled in one hand and push the button with your other hand...all the while the door is open! I didn't care about the water dispenser so it wasn't a deal breaker but I imagine it would be for others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor Quality and Design but Good Lighting

This refrigerator has some good and bad features. The door and shelve adjustment options are poor they need more options on adjustment heights. Gallon bottles and pitchersdo not fiit on the bottom shelf due to adjustment options. Having to open both doors to reach things inside is not effecient. All four upper shelves wobble at any position . Bad shelf bracket design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Getting back to the Basics!

I wanted a refrigerator that was simple and sleek; this one fits the bill! The icemaker and water dispenser do not take up valuable door space. The icemaker does take up some freezer space, but not as much as my side-by-side did. Love it!

Great Refrigerator

Our new refrigerator was installed yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by how much larger it was than our previous frig. We are so happy with the size of the door bins and the full width adjustable temperature drawer. The only negative is when sliding drawers in or out it is very noisy. This noise was not present in the store or when the refrigerator was first installed, it started after the unit was cooled down.
I would recommend this to a friend!
