I bought this to replace a new but broken fridge. After two weeks without a fridge, it was installed yesterday. 18 hours later both the fridge and freezer are still at 76 degrees. First service opportunity not til next week. VERY UNHAPPY
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wish the shelf position choices were better

So-far we like our new fridge but we found ourselves wishing that someone who was putting actual food and bottles in the fridge would have designed the choices for shelf positions. This is especially true for the bottom shelves for the doors. The one above it is so close it's hard to get anything in or out of them.

Just installed this refrigerator. Has nice, clean looks and has ample storage for its size. Water dispenser is inside the fridge which is different, but should not be a problem getting used to.

Feature Rich, But...

I like the ability to adjust the door shelves to fit soda bottles and milk jugs. I like that the one shelf that is collapsable shelf to accomidate taller items. I love the digitally controlled temp options.
However, first this appliance will not physically fit through a standard door jam or patio door. We had to take off our very very heavy glass arcadia door in the back of the house. It was close, but after removing our front door it was just a fraction to wide. This was not fun.

Next, for as digitally smart as this appliance is, it does not actually tell you what the actual temp is for either section. We purchaced a digital thermometer to make certain it was the actual temp we set it at.
The ice maker has 2 flaws. First the ice maker does not shut off when it is full. It keeps mounding up towards the back of the ice bin. We have to continually level the ice. If you do not level the ice, it will spill inside the freezer drawyer, or worse fall behind the drawyers and end up in the freezer section. To remove this ice, you have to open the freezer wide, get on the floor, and with a long spoon, or ruler, something long, slide this ice out onto the floor and pick it up. Or remove all the filled bins of food from the freezer and get to it that way. A pain. To make room for more ice, you constantly need to rake forward the ice.
Next the ice does not stop dropping ice when you open the freezer drawer. We have had several loads of ice drop in the back of the freezer compartment after we have the drawer open. Quite irritating.
There is a water dispenser on the left wall of the refridgerator. You open the left door to access it. There is a VERY tiny tube that barely sticks out where you are supposed to fill your glass. There is a recess in that area where a glass is supposed to fit. That tube needs to be just a little longer. We attached a rubber type straw to the tube so it hangs down. Then we place the glass or container on the deck of the refridgerator and fill the glass MUCH easier. So... MAKE THE TUBE LONGER.

French doors are 'clunky'

It's a nice looking fridge, has more room & features than our 16 y/o Kenmore. The French Door style looks nice, but the closing mechanism is loud and clunky. I like the new fridge, but wished we did a bit more research on one solid door vs. French door options.
