This is a reliable, quite and well engineered refrigerator. The ice make in the freezer compartment is ideal. Our Samsung distributed ice from the refrigerator!! It was always frozen up in the defrost cycle. (Those Lower Slobovian engineers just cannot see past the vodka.)

Our old 1986 GE refrigerator needed to be replaced. Since we are seniors now, the bottom drawer freezer compartment is ideal. We do not have to get on hands and knees to find items on the bottom shelf. The GNE25JSKSS has all the items we use on a daily basis right at eye level. Storage capacity is great for our needs and the cabinet is well lit. We are still using our old GE frige in the garage!

The placement of the LED lights makes it so you can see what is in the drawers without having it open! I like the water dispenser inside where it doesn't take up any room.

We have had the refrigerator for about a month, and it's amazing how GE optimized the room in it! So glad we didn't choose the "in-the-door" water and ice so we didn't lose valuable room in the interior. We have a full, large ice bin in the freezer and water inside the refrigerator that takes no space from the doors.

Efficient, Affordable, Charming

We have had this for exactly a month as of today, and the only complaints I have of this fridge are:
1) Must push both doors fairly hard to close completely (alarm will sound if you do not)
2) The water spout in the fridge (filtered water) is way to short to effectively reach a cup....we have had issues with the kids making a watery mess trying to fill a cup.
3) The bottom fridge drawer is quite shallow.
