Limited space/not functional

I had a simpliar model for over 5 years and loved it! Now, this model is awful! The drawers are small because of the water nozzle. There is no small drawer for cheese, etc. The door shelves aren't adjustable. There is no butter spot. The retractable shelf is not a good solution for drinks. The small is wasted behinf it because you have to always move the drink. The little shelf above is the same way. I still like the double doors and the bottom freezer. We have a cut away so this is the same size refrigator as before but it is not as useful. I hate the alarm! The freezer is also a pain. You always have to push back the top shelf.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On this fridge for five months easy to open easy view of the inside freezer department very large great product this is our third GE appliance

Great fridge

Bought this to replace my 9 year old Whirlpool side-by-side which just stop keeping cold/freezing. Only had this for just under a month, but it works great and keeps everything nice and cold. I'm liking the automatic ice bin in freezer. Used to have clogging problems with my old in-door icemaker. I got the slate stainless....looks really good!

I needed a new refrigerator and wanted to try something new. The stainless steel and bottom freezer fit the bill. Also, the spacious fridge is a great design.

Purchased to replace a refrigerator that had died. The interior is very roomy and with the placement of the interior lights it is very easy to view the items inside. Love that the door shelves are full size and that the water is on the interior wall. Really like the adjustable shelves. Bottom freezer with ice maker has plenty of space. Ice freezes quickly. Runs very quietly. Only drawbacks I can find are I wish the water nozzle was a bit longer and the cost of the replacement water filters is very high.

I Switched from Side By Side, thinking this would be more versatile. It really isn't. In order to fit a gallon jug of milk on the top shelf, you have to set it on the second level down, and then all the other shelves are to short to be of much use. I could use another shelf, but the problem would be the same. There is only so much height. Snack drawer requires both doors to be fully open to slide out, so I have used one of the fruit/veggie drawers for lunch meat and cheeses, and the snack drawer for fruit. Doors do not close by themselves, they must be pushed and even then sometimes fling back open. I did not think the freezer would be an inconvenience, but it has turned out to be one. You can see what you have much easier with the S by S. This has the same SQ Footage, but seems much smaller. I would give it back for my old refrigerator, but that is not an option. I will be leaving it in the house when I sell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
