Poor Design

This refrigerator has some good and bad features. The door and shelve adjustment options are poor they need more options on adjustment heights. Gallon bottles and pitchers won't fit on the bottom shelf because of the adjustment options. You can't reach things inside the unit without opening both doors. Do like the clear pull out drawers..easy to see contents without opening.

Handles come off when opening the door!

We bought this refrigerator a month ago and the handles keep coming off when you open the door. We have scratch on the door because of it. The handles have very small plastic clips on the retainers. There isn't a set screw or a pin to hold the handles on. We contacted the place where we purchased it and found out that in other models they have fixed this problem with a pin. We have a GE repair person coming in a few days. I don't understand why the handles were not fixed before being sent to our house. I now have to wait all day (8am to 5 pm) for the repair person as they don't schedule a specific time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First unit had to be replaced after one day. New unit made a great deal of noise.

Awesome refrigerator!

We bought this refrigerator about 6 months ago and it's been a GREAT frig since day 1 - love the French doors, LED lighting is exceptionally bright, plenty of storage in the doors, the bottom freezer holds more food than you'd think + the organizer tray inside it is really convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well, lots of space, and good features. The only thing I wish it had was adjustable door shelving height to accomidate different size containers.

Great for the price...a little on the noisy side

I purchased this refrigerator in November 2016. Big upgrade from what I had. Love the french door feature and all the space inside. Only complaint is it has recently developed a vibration noise. Not all the time but when it buzzes you certainly hear it. Doesn't seem to be affecting the quality of refrigeration just noisy at times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We haven't had this long at all, but oh it looks so wonderful in our kitchen,! Our previous refrigerator had the freezer on the top, this one is on the bottom, awesome to have everything at eye level :). Also has alarm on door in case left open. Can't tell you how many times our other one the door was open just enough for the freezer to frost up, and use up energy you don't want to.
