It FITS, it's SPACIOUS, and has a WATER DISPENSER

We were having a very difficult time finding a french door fridge with a water dispenser that would fit in the empty spot in the kitchen. The width allowed the fridge a couple inches so that the doors could open without hitting the wall or counter. Don't let the smaller width fool you. This fridge is extremely spacious on the inside! Originally, we were looking for an exterior water dispenser; However, we compromised with this guy for a couple reasons. The first reason being that there is very little selection around 35 W or less. Also, we noticed that the exterior feature took a ton of interior space. The water dispenser is located on the inside on the left wall at a normal height towards the front.

All-around good product

I'm in the process of updating the appliances in my home and started with the 'fridge. So far this product has met or exceeded my wife's and my expectations. We chose the stainless steel exterior and it's very handsome. The digital temperature controls and open door alarm are a big step up from what we had. The water filter for the dispenser and ice maker works very well so far. The usable amount of space in the freezer is our biggest issue i think, but it could be worse.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only had one week but put it to a test right away. Tons of room! Meat tray, cheese tray, 8 2 liters of soda, 1/2 sheet cake, and all my normal things! Love it!

French Doors are nice, but...

We wish this model or GE made a single door. We bought this NOT because of the French Doors but because of the features inside. We were tired of water/ice dispensers taking up half a door. The water dispenser in this model is very obscure. We wish it would dispense water faster but that is a small inconvenience. We like the sliding surfaces, plenty of storage space in the refrigerator and drawers. All very good. The two layer freezer with ice maker is very well done. There is lot of room which is another reason we bought the refrigerator. It fits nice into the space in the kitchen. We also like the non-fingerprint surfaces and color. It goes well in our kitchen. We have owned the GE for four months now and have had no issues.

Nice unit for the money

We had the appliances in out kitchen hitting 22-27 years old, and decided to update from a different brand. After looking over things, we settled on the GNE25 model series fridge. Unit cooled down fast runs silent. Makes batches of ice quite fast. We wanted a smooth finish door so we opted for this model as the water dispenser is inside the fridge. Considerably nicer than our old top freezer unit. Love the double door. Nice thing is the alarm incase the door doesn't get shut right away. Got on sale at a great price. Hookup was easy, after we had to slightly modify our cabinets for clearance due to being taller. Surface is easy to clean and does not leave smudges or fingerprints much at all. All it takes is a towel with a little soap and warm water if even that to clean.

BOUGHT THANKSGIVING WEEK AND SO FAR ITS GREAT. VERY BRIGHT LIGHTS THAT ARE NICE AND ROOMY BECAUSE THE ICE MAKE IS NOT IN THE DOOR. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE LARGER PLASTIC LOWER DRAWER SQUEAKS VERY LOUDLY WHICH IS KIND OF AGGRIVATING!

Good look but

Ice bin hits Everytime you close the freezer door. Also I bought slate to prevent finger prints but they put stainless handles on the fridge and stove the one place finger prints show up
