Quiet. Turbo mode works great. Adjustable temperature drawers a big plus.

purchased French Door fridge Aug-19-2016 in Slate. Love the color and easy care finish of this appliance. Our complaint - My husband has been peeling off the protective covering for the last 30 minutes. Very difficult to completely remove the plastic and impossible to get it all out of the door seal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the finish...

I purchased this refrigerator a week ago. I love the slate finish with the fingerprintless feature. The handles still get prints, but it's so much better than the whole front of the fridge having them everywhere. We purposely purchased one with water inside, and the ice make underneath. Ice makers in the door take up fridge space and make little ice compared to those in the freezer. Our other appliances all have regular, stainless steel finish, but this fridge ties in well because the handles are stainless. The fridge is a little loud when making ice though. I don't recall that with a previous fridge, with similar features, that I purchased 6 years ago when we lived across the country. So far, I would purchase again.

We were set to buy another brand in stainless steel when we saw this fridge with the slate finish and changed our minds. So glad we did, the slate finish not only looks great but doesn't show fingerprints. We preferred not having the ice maker/water dispenser in the door so it didn't take up storage space and become a play thing for a 4 year old child. Only slight drawback is having to open the door and let cold air out while using the dispenser. Plenty of space for us and no issues in the first 6 months.

Things that would make me reconsider next time are: bottom shelves on both doors are not very easily used without maneuvering the stored objects; icemaker flows over and the cutoff button is too far back such that sensitive movement parts may be struck ( should be an automatic cut off based on level of ice or something adjustable):
I like inside water dispensing, but the delivery should be a little faster--as is, the door has to stay open too long,,,Next time, I'll just get a model with dispenser outside..
GE however, has made pretty good use of its size.
