Love the shelf design in the frig area. Perfect!

Our frig started freezing everything on the shelves and was too old to repair. We found this frig in a GE scratch & dent store and was perfect size for our small home. Its design is perfect with water & ice on the inside instead of the door. Looks stream line. A little different shelf design is perfect and roomy. I can recommend the GE frig with freezer as a bottom drawer. Perfect for us.

Lower frig door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The location of this installation is a bit challenging. On the left side is a wall that extends 4 inches beyond the door. The right side is up against a counter. The dimension between them is 35-1/2 inches. So, we were glad to find a frig that fits AND with extra depth. However, the wall prevents us from opening the freezer door all the way. When I open the frig bottom draw, I find the bottom frig door won't open all the way because the corner of the draw collides with the seal on the door. I can live with it but I don't think it was thought through.

Not great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't love the doors. They don't close easily. Owner has to make sure to close manually ALL the way. Just 10% open and they swing all the way open. The freezer door is also a problem. The inside materials aren't quality in my opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Convenience in a compact width

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like this refrigerator quite a lot. We wanted a 33" wide unit with good features and this refrigerator has what we were looking for. The shelving arrangement in both the refrigerator and freezer sections is very helpful in arranging the various items. The water dispenser inside the refrigerator is very handy, as is the wide "deli" drawer. However, we wish there was a dedicated storage area for butter and cheese.

This is junk to me.

We bought this during the pandemic, in a hurry. Never hooked up the water line because of many reviews that said it leaked. It is less than 5 years old and now our own appliance repairman says the compressor needs replacement. This is an extremely expensive part plus labor so we are faced with decision about repair or replacement while our food spoils. We had to call the 800 number / call center soon after we bought it in order to get a small repair taken care of and it took over 2 weeks for the repairman to get here. JUNK

Nice but is the build quality there?

Its a nice refrigerator but the compressor motor or something underneath has been vibrating on some other part and it does not stop when it is level. Started doing this 5 days after installation
