An Upgrade Worth the Money

This is definitely an upgrade from what we had. It’s well worth the money. We like the top bottom feature because we feel like it fits more than the side by side

This Refrigerator is very quiet and the perfect size for my home. I love the pull out drawers especially the one that is the full width of the refrigerator. I bought the French Door model because I like the freezer on the bottom. I love how the stainless steel stays fresh and clean looking, with no finger or hand marks. So far this is the BEST refrigerator I have ever owned.

We love the look of this fridge and are so pleased that it has a large capacity for the narrow space we have for installation. The large shelves and wide drawers will make access easy.

It's so frustrating.
Cons first
The biggest issue is the fan motor. It is loud and pulses. It's sounds as if it is dying. I chose it over the others because of the low amp draw. I'm off grid and on solar, but the droning sound it makes, is going to be hard to get used to.
Pros
Power consumption is low, and cooling seems to be adequate.
Love the French doors.
I do like that the water and ice doesn't take up half of your door space.
The handles seem fine. I've read some poor reviews on that.
Lighting is good
Shelves and drawers have enough space to hold and to keep your food orderly
I like the freezer on the bottom even though it is less efficient then being on the top. When you are older bending down to see what is on the bottom shelf is problematic.
Would I buy this model again? No
All the good features all the great features are wiped out by the droning, pulsing motor.
I'm stuck with it for a few years. It was a special order so no return. Island life.
GE your engineers should sit in a quiet room with this, after 15 minutes of this torture, I'm sure it would be fixed.
I wish I could include a sound video recording it is so annoying.

Best Narrow-Width Fridge

After a month, we’re very happy with this refrigerator. Agree with other reviews regarding inconvenience of water dispenser and noisy ice container, but still the best narrow-width unit we found. Plenty of space in doors, shelves and freezer. Hope it holds up like the GE it replaced in our kitchen!
