I thought I already had a decent no frills fridge, then it died. I wanted to get another like it, but I had heard the brand quality went down. So after research, I decided to try this GE fridge. I wanted bottom freezer and this time I went all out and got a cold filtered water tap inside the fridge. After a few months of use, I really like the layout of this model. The quality so far seems good. The utility is more than I expected and I am very pleased with this purchase. It will take time to see if GE stands up to the longevity issue. I also hope not to change auto icemaker several times due to failure. New brand, Nice Fridge, Good Delivery. Very Pleased.

Nice no-frills refrigerator/freezer - Good Storage

Very happy overall, the inside water dispenser is a bit disappointing. Basically a shallow recess with a tube sticking down without much clearance to put your glass under it. Just comes off as not matching the quality of the rest of the unit. Ice maker works great. Lots of storage space. A very nice no-frills refrigerator-freezer.

disappointed in the door shelving. you cannot use all 4 shelves unless all of your items are miniature.
In addition, it shouldn't take 2 months to get your rebate.

Good storage layout

Our black french-door refrigerator looks good in our kitchen, and I've been satisfied with the layout of storage space. I especially like the meat/cheese drawer on the bottom. It's shallow and is the entire width of the fridge, which means that items won't get pushed to the back and bottom, as in my previous deeper meat drawer. I would recommend this refrigerator to a friend.
