Water and Ice maker are really slow, otherwise wor

So far so good except the ice maker is really slow at making ice and the drinking water just trickles out

Late August 2024 review could be premature...

Late August 2024 purchase. This model fit our requirements. The fact that it is 33" wide 68" tall and deeper 33" which is perfect size for us. The interior lights, top center and two side lights midway down work very effectively.
Only two disappointments; one it is louder than our old 12 year kenmore. This is really noticeable when its working hard. Like when you put a lot of food in at once, as we did that first night. The condiment bottles on the shelf vibrated! Two, the very bottom shelf bars on the lowest mini shelf were not included in our box. Yet, when I viewed sample in store, and online, they are present. I'll contact GE about this.

Mranwhile, we've only had the refrigerator for a week. We were 3 weeks without one, and frankly, hsppy to have a cworkong refrigerator" I bought this model for its features and repair/service track record.

Don’t buy it

This refrigerator is “ok.” I would not buy it again. I read reviews and people say they love it so I ordered it with out finding one to see in person first. I dislike so much about it that I have consider bring my LG back in from the garage. The ability to move the shelves is extremely limited. The main section only has 4 shelf spot to chose from so literally anything tall has to go in the door shelf or you end up with such a narrow space between shelves that it’s useless. The door shelves are the same, only one variable set up. My LG essentially had the ability to adjust the main compartment in 1.5 inch increments and the doors were like that too. The doors on this GE refrigerator also has the hinges that keeps the doors open but they are so stiff you have to slam the door other wise it won’t pass the thresh hold to shut and it’ll swing back open. The freezer, terrible, my old frig you could sort of give it a bit of a shove and it would smoothly close. Not GE you have to forcefully shove it closed or you’ll find it still open an inch or so. Okay, I have it 2 stars because I DO like the use dispenser in the freezer dropping into a large ice bin. Great feature. I also like the water dispenser in the side of the frig but it is awkward to use. Considering this cost the same as what the new model of my old LG it’s insane that’s it’s this cheaply built. It’s the first GE appliance I have bought and it’s the last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I could only get a 33” refridge so I was limited but so thankful for this fridge. Perfect fit plus finger smudge proof! Love it!!
