This is by far the best refrigerator I have ever owned. It keeps the cold stuff at a continuous perfect temperature. The three clear sliding drawers and the retractable glass shelf for tall bottles etcetera make organizing items very easy. I have previously owned side by side refrigerators and honestly was somewhat skeptical about the bottom freezer but was very pleasantly surprised to find that it holds a lot more food than I thought that it would. The full width sliding top drawer along with the large adjustable bins make it easy to organize everything so that I can get to what I need without having to "unbury" it! I have purchased several GE appliance in the past and would highly recommend this refrigerator.

Love this refrigerator!. Contractor messed up on opening for refrigerator and I had to go with a smaller than standard. This was one of few french door refrigerators that had a water dispenser inside...( I did not want it on the outside as you lose so much space inside refrigerator)
The only thing I am not truly happy with, is the design of the water dispenser. Very difficult to get anything under the 'stubby' tube... so I extended it with a piece of clear tubing. Much easier to dispense in a wide range of drink containers.

Sloppy construction and noisy!

Very loud and noisy mechanics and operation from the compressor to the drinking water. Doors do not set level, one is almost 1/4 inch higher than the other which also offsets the pull handles on both doors. Freezer door has to be pulled from the center or jams up and squeaks when opening. Interior drawers are too shallow to accommodate head lettuce or head cauliflower or head cabbage. For the price, nothing special and low quality. This is how appliances' are made these days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks fabulous

We love our GE fridge it's very roomy and the ice maker is quiet and makes a lot of ice. One problem the water dispenser is too slow waste electricity having the door open takes so long to fill up a cup of water. Other than that it's the best fridge we have owned. We had whirlpool and LG.

Solid Basic Refrigerator

This appliance is perfectly sufficient for all of our needs. I knocked it down a star because it is a basic model without modern features and also, and mostly, because it is a little bit noisy. Our previous refrigerator barely made any sound at all and this one makes audible noises fairly constantly. As in, it's a little surprising how much noise this appliance makes. The freezer is on the small side also, so if you have a large household take that into consideration.

To cold issues

I liked this fridge for the organizational aspect, but I’m having issues with my food freezing in the fridge. It was set at the manufacturers recommendation. I have raised the temperature 4 degrees and it’s still to cold. Freezer seems fine.
