Great TV for the Money

Great TV. Decided for the money this was the best option. Great colors and 3D looks really good. I honestly think the actual TV itself looks awesome. Love the LED lights underneath really makes TV pop. Would recommend this TV to anyone looking to go non=4k. Best LED 1080p TV on the market.

Picture is as sharp and clear as seen in showroom. Compared to another brand 55" TV purchased 2yrs ago, the Sony picture is far superior. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

The good, the bad, and the ugly

The good is the picture: Sony has the most beautiful picture out there, rivaling all those 4D sets flooding the market, and anyone suggesting the black level is anything short of pitch black needs their eyes examined. The viewing angles are also extraordinary, as good as any of the high priced curved screens.The bad is the shiny screen; looks beautiful when turned off, but really reflective of lights and windows. The ugly is the menu and related functions, one thousand one, one thousand two, that is how long it takes to switch channels. Go into the "channels" icon to scroll more quickly and if you do not have your stations memorized, the "boxes" fly by so fast you cannot read them. Which takes you back to clicking the remote to advance to the next channel. Really? Such a fantastic TV dragged down with such poor user functions is a shame. Sorry Sony, you can do better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
