My first month experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am satisfied with the functionality and operation of the the Ventless Heat Pump Dryer but definitely see room for enhancements and improvements. Possibly, this is a common theme among all ventless dryers but there is a significant amount of dampness and humidity omitted from the dryer during normal operation. So much so that I ended up purchasing a portable air conditioner / dehumidifier to prevent mold from all the dampness. This is particularly true in our NW climate where we have a lot of rain and dampness in the winter. The other item where I would suggest changes is to have a different mechanism for lint capture. The existing system is cumbersome to clean and creates somewhat of a mess trying to get all of the trapped lint out of both filters. Other than these two issues, I am pleased with the quiet operation as well as drying ability of this make and model.

Disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer because it was the only full sizes, electric, ventless dryer on the market that would meet my apartment specifications. No joke, 2 weeks after installation the dryer stopped working with (after googling) a very common error code. Turns out, Whirlpool skimped on some pump and many their dryers end up failing shortly after installation, just like my experience. Additionally, I wish i could turn off the chime that both wash and dryer play when its completed. I wish more brands were in the market for my needs so that I wouldn't have to be stuck taking a day off from work to wait for a repairman for cheap parts.

The worst dryer I've ever owned.

Never worked well and has broken completely a litter over a year into owning it. And out of warranty as of a year.

Secondary Filter - Hybrid Care Filter Issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How does one clean the lint in the coils? The mesh screen behind the Hybrid Care Filter cannot be removed to clean the coils. We’ve used European condensing dryers in the past where the coils can be slid out for cleaning but the coils on this dryer is fixed in place and cannot be cleaned.

and mesh inside with a
damp cloth, household
vacuum cleaner, or soft
brush. Clean the screen
at the back of the filter
