Don't know what all the complaints are about

I have had the previous model # of this Dryer more than a year and I couldn't be happier. It makes a different noise than a traditional Dryer but not necessarily louder. It also takes a bit longer to dry, but the literature was very up front about that. Idk how a new Dryer could arrive non-functioning as others have complained about, but that seems to me like a problem with where they purchased it from. I have bought appliances from different stores and anytime I had an issue within the first 30 days my store made it right. I've also never had these described issues with whirlpool whether I was in or out of warranty and I always buy whirlpool for all appliances in the house...maybe it's a regional thing?!? I just wanted to weigh in and say maybe it's not the Dryer or manufacturers fault, just the poor handling from the sales and repair companies they had to deal with.

Ventless feature is awesome.

Love the ventless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been looking into ventless to get rid of all the lint. This machine does the trick. It runs a little hot for delicate items but once you know you can hang those out.

Great Idea-Poor Execution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like not having to run the vent hose for exhaust. The machine is quite a bit louder then I was led to believe. The moisture and the heat from the machine seemed a little high. Main problem is the quality. Had the machine for over two month's now and it still does operate properly. Several service calls have not fixed the error codes. Now waiting on a part.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
